Joyce is an engineer and hacker who is passionate about making technology open and accessible to the end-user. She believes that verifiable, open source technology is essential to the functioning of a democratic society and fighting back against malicious actors, state-affiliated and otherwise. She strongly believes that anyone should be able to inspect, modify and repair their devices.
Carissa Cheow
Chief Strategy Officer
Having graduated from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, Cari is a political scientist who envisions ordinary communities having direct autonomy, control, and ownership over the technologies we make and use, and where societies anywhere in the world and especially in Southeast Asia can develop our own fit-for-purpose technologies without being beholden to ever-shifting global power alliances.

With a firm belief in community building and interdependence, Ori wants to build rapport and strengthen tech capabilities across communities so that we are not dependent on faceless companies for our tech.
